tom ford is a big name in the fashion industry since his time as artistic director at gucci. during this time fashion started to spread into the mainstream media and partly because of ford and his use of celebrities and the red carpet and the creation of his own celebrity. today fashion has no doubt exploded into the media and onto the internet and is bigger and faster than ever before. during this new york fashion week tom ford introduced his new venture into womenswear under his own label along with his established menswear, parfum and eyewear. i found this article on the telegraph website about the event and it talks about mr. ford's choice not to allow photos to be taken or shown till dec. i believe its the beginning of the implosion of fashion in the media but i wonder if tom ford is starting this revolution or just back tracking on the craze of fashion that he was apart of starting.

i heart design - zerotracer ev.

im not a huge fan of motor bikes but i found this one on wired news online and i thought this was a nice new idea for transportation. i know there have been other similar designs already available or in development but the zerotracer looks really nice. i wouldnt mind tryin it out if i had the chance.
