essen germany - zollverein design school.
this building is part of the zollverein heritage industrial complex in essen. the architects that created this building that won the design competition are kazuyo sejima and ryue nishizawa known as sanaa. rem koohaus oma is the masterplanner of the zollverein site.

koln - dom cathedral.
one of the tallest cathedrals in the world dom is a roman catholic gothic styled church right outside the mainstation in koln. it is a world heritage site making it one of the worlds culturally important sites. the cathedral was built over a 600 year period and has been bombed in world war 2.

i just got back from a weekend visiting a friend in koln germany. i got to visit a few other cities near koln and the architecture is amazing. more pictures coming soon.

victoria and albert - fashion series pt 1.
for my first visit to the v & a i was pleasantly surprised at the fashion collection they had. these are my favorite pieces.
